Imagine if MC was coping from a traumatic event, because let’s be real, for the events in the beginning of the game. They would definitely develop some kind of trauma from it and not be so happy and positive like it doesn’t phase them. So they are very sleep deprived from nightmares, not taking care of themselves properly, depressed, feeling numb, easily angry and startled.
